Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer with knowledge and experience with Process Mechanical piping to work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD Designers, in the design and production of contract documents for various Water, Wastewater and Pump Station facilities projects. Additional knowledge is a plus, with Site Civil drafting/design site layout, grading, drainage, yard piping.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Prepare plan, section, and detail drawings for various process mechanical systems, along with Site Civil layout, grading and yard piping plans.
- Coordination with other disciplines (Structural, Architectural, HVAC -Plumbing, Electrical, Instrumentation, Site Civil)
- Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards and styles
Required Experience and Skills:
- 2-4 years of CAD drafting design experience with water and/or wastewater projects preferred
- Completion of technical school CAD design certificate with emphasis on Revit preferred
- Revit experience/skills required
- AutoCAD 2D skills required
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience/skills, highly desired
- Basic understanding of process mechanical piping and chemical piping, and associated materials and fittings preferred for Water, Wastewater and Pump Station facilities
