What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cut & Sew Final Inspector position at HBF?

What we need:
- We are adding a Inspector/Customer Advocate to our HBF team in Hickory, NC!
Performs inspection of products for quality, defects, appearance, finishes and operation from specification or by visual comparison methods.
What you'll do:
- Will perform inspection of products for quality, defects, appearance, finishes and operation from specification or by visual comparison methods
- Will use specifications to disposition product
- Read tickets to ensure product matches what information has been ordered by the customer.
- Ability for “light” touch-up.
- Complete reject tag for all non-compliance units.
- Input defect data into defect database.
- Provide manager and supervisors feedback on the status of non-compliant units.
- Wears all required PPE; works safely at all times and reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area
What you have:
Must be detail oriented- Touch up experience.
- Must have knowledge of fit and function of product
- Ability to consistently meet high quality/quantity performance standard
- Must comply with company rules, regulations and safety practices
- Quality specification background.
- Knowledge of computer based ticket system.
What else:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time.
