HBSE’s portfolio of websites deliver the latest in in-depth sports and entertainment information for hundreds of thousands of fans in the greater Philadelphia and Newark areas and beyond. Whether fans are looking for news, stats, or tickets to the 76ers, Devils, a family ice show or the latest singing sensation, HBSE’s goal is for our websites to be the first choice of fans for information and access. As SEO Manager, you will work closely with your counterparts in marketing, sponsorship, analytics and website development to identify key priorities and implement strategic SEO initiatives designed to ensure high SEO page ranks and increased website traffic to the most important news, sponsor and ticketing information. Join our Digital Marketing Team and you’ll be helping to raise the bar for SEO in the sports and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Review and analyze HBSE websites to identify areas that can be improved and optimized
• Create and deliver comprehensive SEO strategies across the HBSE portfolio of websites
• Compile, train and lead HBSE in the implementation of SEO best practices
• Report on and ensure ongoing focus on driving increased traffic and revenue from SEO efforts
Qualifications (educational, experience, & basic knowledge requirements):
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university
• 3-5 years of relevant SEO experience
• Expertise in SEO optimization with proven, defined results
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
• Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure
Travel Requirements:
• Less than 25% of the time.
