The CME Coordinator/Administrative Secretary provides secretarial services to a director level department manager of a large and complex organization component. Responsible for coordinating all CME activities, assuring that CME activities meet the accepted standards and regulations of the Accredited Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the Florida Medical Association (FMA).
Utilizing independent judgement is also responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support services for the Department of Educational Services.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); Associates degree in healthcare preferred
- One to two years experience in a medical staff office preferred. Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Previous credentialing and management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Current Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) with the National Association Medical Staff Services is preferred.
