Position summary: This position is designed to provide confidential and professional support to the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Nursing Officer. This position demands a commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail, patience, and a willingness to contribute in any way possible to achieve organizational success.

Position responsibilities:
- Administrative support to CFO & CNO
- Answers internal & external phone calls and takes prudent, appropriate action
- Controls employee and visitor traffic
- Maintains calendars & schedules for the CFO & CNO while maximizing efficiency
- Receives, evaluates, distributes, and forwards mail & interoffice correspondence
- Drafts correspondence
- Purchases supplies for the office
- Takes minutes at various meetings
- Responsible for patient complaints and coordinate resolution
- Serves as back up to executive assistant to the CEO & COO
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the CFO & CNO
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department
- Attend Code of Conduct training course annually
- Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to HCA’s Code of Conduct
- Demonstrates conduct that is reflective of THRH’s commitment to HCA’s Code of Conduct
- Adheres to the Standards of Behavior for Terre Haute Regional Hospital as per the Customer Relations Policy

Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
- At least 3 years of executive level administrative support
- Planning: ability to think ahead and adapt quickly within an ever changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in all forms
- Proficiency with nearly all Microsoft Office XP products
- High personal velocity and drive to provide exceptional service
- Ability to exercise independently judgment with minimal supervision
Valued but not required skills and experience:

- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in business administration or related field
- Executive level administrative support experience in healthcare
