We are seeking a(an) FNS Supervisor for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

· You will be responsible for supervising all patient food service activities, including patient tray line, diet office, floor stock, and reprocessing operations.

· You will maintain and improve standards of food service.

· You will assist in maintaining and improving patient food service procedures.

· You will ensure that department areas, equipment and machinery are set-up to work at appropriate levels.

· You will evaluate patient menu selections and makes adjustments with diet order guidelines and patient preferences.

· You will inspect trays for 100% accuracy on tray line.

What Qualifications you will need:

· Vocational or Technical education required.

· Previous supervisory Food Service experience, preferably 2 years food service experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.

· Food safety knowledge required. 

· Florida Food Handlers Card required.

· Computer skills necessary.

· Excellent customer service skills required. 

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to mule-task, especially during peak times.

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383 bed hospital. We are located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
