Job Summary:

As a License Practical Nurse:

• You will obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care
• You will provide direct, evidence-base nursing care of assign patients as directed by the physician or RN. Assist with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed
• You will insert and maintain IV’s, after meeting training requirements and demonstrate competency.
• You will escalate situations requiring care beyond the scope or practice of an LVN/LPN.
• You will reinforce education for patient and family based on the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Vocational Nursing School - Required
• 1 year applicable experience – Preferred
• Valid TN State LPN License – Required
• Current American Heart Association certification in BLS - Required
