Job Summary and Qualifications
The Capital Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of FacilitiGroup capital infrastructure projects and special initiatives. The primary responsibilities include contract and process execution in e-Builder and communications with FacilitiGroup staff, hospital staff, consultants and contractors.
- Writing and executing contracts.
- Initiating and managing processes in e-Builder for capital infrastructure projects.
- To act as a subject matter resource for all customers (internal and external).
- To seek out inefficiencies and to offer suggestions to other FacilitiGroup capital program team members for process improvements.
- Setting up new projects in e-Builder.
- Setting up new vendors in e-Builder.
- Creating contracts and routing to appropriate signatories to initiate design and construction for capital projects.
- Cash flow projections and cost performance tracking.
- Schedule management.
- Vendor performance tracking.
- Reviewing change orders, date changes, and pay applications and expediting through e-Builder.
- Facilitation of project team meetings and conference calls as needed.
- Training with vendors as required.
- Communication with facility personnel and FacilitiGroup personnel on project status and details.
- Process improvements.
What qualifications you will need:
- College undergraduate degree required.
- 3 years in construction industry or related.
