Job Summary: 

The TriStar Food & Nutrition Registered Dietitian 1, will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees. 

What you will do in this role: 

• You will be responsible for provision of nutrition education to inpatients and outpatients as appropriate and requested. 
• You will integrate ethics in all areas of practice. Adheres to confidentiality and patients rights policies. You will complete nutrition assessments by collecting and analyzing relevant data from the patient and medical record, including diet history, medical diagnosis, labs, medications and physical assessments. 
• You will determine appropriate nutrition diagnosis utilizing the Nutrition Care Process. 
• You will implement nutrition intervention appropriate to the nutrition diagnosis and monitors patient responses to therapy. 
• You will evaluate appropriateness of enteral and parenteral nutrition support, including energy, protein, and adequacy of fluid provisions. 

What qualifications you will need: 

• Bachelors Degree is Required 
• Masters Degree is preferred 
• Clinical Experience highly preferred 
• Licensed Dietitian within the state is Required 
• Registered Dietitian required
