Job Summary and Qualifications

What will you do in this role:

• You will provide assessment and care for Med Surg and pre/and post-surgical patients to include: total joint replacements, bariatric, orthopedic, general, gynecological, urosurgery, neuro, Stable Trauma and Chest Pain.
• We offer in-house arrhythmia classes and other professional development includingACLS and Med/Surg certifications
• Administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs will be your primary job functions.
• You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Our team recognizes and responds to changes in a patient’s condition including post op bleeding, pain issues, post anesthesia complications, etc.
• You will coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Associates Degree required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment
