Job Summary and Qualifications
Preferred experience working in the emergency room as a pharmacist, ASHP pharmacy residency trained, or board certified.
Responsibilities would include code response, management of medications in ER setting, medication reconciliation, and clinical oversight
- The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care activities to ensure safe and effective drug therapy through the provision of clinical services.
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
- Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.
- Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current TN Pharmacist license required.
- One year hospital experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
