As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising personnel, assigning workflow, and overseeing the processing of supplies in the receiving, shipping, and picking/packing functions in the warehouse.
What you will do in this role:
- Ensure our clinicians have the supplies they need to provide our patients with high quality care.
- Work with manager to provide quality reports and feedback to the warehouse staff.
- Frequently interacts with management and other functional groups within the organization.
- Oversee new employee training program certifying all functions of the job have been reviewed, understood, and signed off.
- Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Responsible for warehouse employee development plans, annual performance reviews and providing consistent feedback on employee performance.
- Deliver guidance to material handlers ensuring efficient workflow in the receiving and shipping areas.
- Troubleshoots all receiving and shipping complaints to find the cause, help resolve the issue, and prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensures material handlers are keeping receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, and racks free of hazards or obstructions.
- Run reports and review/monitor KPIs and implement plans accordingly to ensure operation is successfully meeting KPIs set forth.
- Direct staff to perform routine cycle counts and investigate discrepancies found in cycle counting process.
- Performs and oversees physical inventory.
Qualifications
What Qualification you will need:- High School Diploma or GED required
- Material handler experience required
- Warehouse supervisor experience preferred
