Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Care, the EEG Technologist provides Perform routine and complex procedures, to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system, in at least two of the following fields of technical Neurophysiology: Electroencephalograph, Evoked Potentials, or Epilepsy and accordance with established Departmental and Hospital standards of care.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Work requires one year of experience in biological or psychological fields related to the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system.
- OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Certification in Basic Life Support from American Heart Association (BLS)
- National Board Registration in one or more of three areas: EEG, Evoked Potential or Polysomnography.
CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP - must be American Heart
No Travel Travel Required
