What You Will Do In This Role:
- You will schedule new patients upon admission with referring physician office and reschedule follow-up visits as approved and per therapists' instructions.
- You will record necessary patient demographic information in the scheduling module and assist with insurance verification to identify patients requiring preadmission approval from third-party payor.
- You will work as a part of a collaborative team with other hospital staff to deliver a team approach to each patient.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
- 2 years of office or scheduling experience is required. Hospital experience is preferred.
- Computer experience is required.
