Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision, and according to general policies and procedures, Quality Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the core measure process. This position is responsible for facilitating to completion and sustainment PI projects, small working groups, and projects to improve the quality of care and value for our patients. These projects and working groups are interdisciplinary in nature. The Quality Coordinator identifies opportunities for improvement based on evidence-based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and monitoring of high risk, high volume and/or problem prone process. This position maintains multiple databases and dashboards, as well as analyzes complex patient care data for reporting out at leadership levels. Analysis will also incorporate clinical and operational processes and outcomes. Partnership with Los Robles departments and management is essential to achieve overall quality goals.

  • You will educate both nurses and physicians, and have the clinical knowledge to interpret clinician questions.
  • Your role will use statistics/analysis to evaluate and interpret data, summarize results and make recommendations.
  • You need knowledge and prior execution of regulatory standard through the tracer methodology and other regulatory readiness tools and techniques.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Healthcare and clinical experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years current experience in quality, risk management or related clinical experience with the acute care hospitals setting required.
  • CPQH certification preferred
  • Fluent computer skills including Excel database, graphs, Power point and Meditech.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
