What you bring to the table Beck is actively seeking an exceptional Regional Scheduler to join our distinguished team in Dallas, TX. In this strategic role, you will take on a pivotal role in guiding project teams through planning, schedule development, and the meticulous upkeep of project schedules spanning from preconstruction to final completion. While your primary focus will be on Atlanta-based projects, your expertise will also be utilized to support project teams across various regions. Integral to your role will be frequent site visits, stakeholder engagements, and the cultivation of robust relationships with project team members and subcontractors to ensure an accurate understanding of project status and the readiness to adapt schedules as required. Key Responsibilities As a Regional Scheduler, you will play a central role in several mission-critical functions, including: Exemplifying leadership in overseeing and orchestrating scheduling efforts for construction projects Producing comprehensive reports on project scheduling and its progress Collaborating in comprehensive project risk assessment and suggests mitigation strategies Soliciting input from project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meticulously craft baseline schedules Ability to interpret and decipher construction drawings, to help create baseline schedule Contacts/follows-up with project teams Supports training to project teams Independent analyzes scheduling metrics and issues analysis to project management Supports progress updates/variance reports Inquiries about software upgrades Reports scheduling metrics/risk issues Qualifications The ideal candidate will be characterized by a profound enthusiasm for the integrated project delivery method and a strong penchant for driving innovation in process enhancement and technology. Furthermore, you will meet and exceed the following expectations: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or an equivalent field, along with a substantial 10 years of specialized construction scheduling experience Exhibit an unparalleled attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of precision in all undertakings Showcase exceptional written and verbal communication skills, underpinning effective collaboration and clarity of communication Boast a deep-rooted familiarity with P6 Physical Demands The role of a Regional Scheduler inherently encompasses various physical demands, including frequent operation of computers and office equipment, ongoing communication with project teams and stakeholders, meticulous adherence to best practices in project planning and scheduling, and unwavering commitment to maintaining punctual attendance. Occasional travel and site visits are expected, necessitating the capacity to carry large plans or boxes exceeding 10 lbs.
