Our services directly impact the health and safety of the patients by providing healthcare facilities with top-quality linen services. We sort, process, and deliver linen for every healthcare need. This role supervises 2nd shift production employees at the Allentown, PA Division of HCSC-Laundry. Responsibilities include employee orientation and training, employee relations/communications, safety, and monitoring workflow, and daily scheduling of employees within specific departments to match and maintain workflow. Additional duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Oversees departments to survey work process, employees & equipment operation ensuring safety and quality standards are met
•Enters employee payroll information and production scores via computer
•Communicates production issues to management
•Supervises, orients & trains employees
Experience and Education:
•Bachelor degree or combination of education and experience
•Strong management, interpersonal and communication skills
•Problem solving skills
•Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
•Bilingual Spanish a plus
**All new hires are eligible for Bonuses. You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.**
