KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide dedicated first level IT Operations and Security support for the Office of the Chair and CEO and the Board of Directors IT related issues in a courteous and responsive manner
- Provides PC and software hands-on assistance
- Responds to and diagnoses problems
- Provide support in arranging and supporting the hardware and software and sustaining the infrastructure to support for the Office of the Chair and CEO and their Executive meetings and technical assistance. (Video conferencing, Projectors etc.)
- Provides support, test & evaluation of hardware and software, Imaging and system updates, network, and fiber cable installation.
- Builds new PCs and laptops, iPhones, IPADs, for deployment to the network
- Provide oversight on cybersecurity, run safety checks and security routines, install software, upgrade, and oversee protection
- Keep current with the latest technologies
- Implements all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
- Recommends systems modifications to avoid reduce user problems
- Enables mobile access and remote desk top support globally and securely
- Circumvent the normal IT ticketing system (CA Service Desk), though maintain full access and highest priority for incremental support that might be needed
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree/High School Graduate with 2 years related work experience.
- Excellent IT and Computer Sciences Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a great sense of urgency.
- Experience supporting Executive Staff
- On-Call availability.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
- Occasional inspection and installation of cables in floors and ceilings.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
