Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Environmental Scientist, a junior/entry level position, we'll count on you to:
- Work with project and task managers and be responsible for a wide variety of task support roles including but not limited to, data compilation and analysis, permit applications, and preparation of plans and reports in support of various environmental compliance activities.
- Specific areas of focus will be, hazardous material (HM) and hazardous waste (HW) management, solid waste and pollution prevention, water and wastewater management, and EPCRA reporting, in support of projects originating from the Tulsa, OK and other HDR EOC offices. Travel within and outside of the U.S. to military installations and defense contractor facilities as needed.
- Work on a wide variety of environmental compliance and natural resources projects
- Work under the supervision of mid-level and senior environmental scientists
- Take responsibility for assisting with environmental permits, compliance assessments, and other environmental compliance documentation
- Assist mid-level and senior scientists in field work and project site visits
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
- Ability to obtain Security clearance
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point. SharePoint a plus
