Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Highway EIT/Coordinator are to provide project engineering/project delivery supports with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region. In the role of Highway EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects
  • Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates
  • Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • EIT
  • Able to develop designs using MicroStation, GEOPAK or other transportation design software packages, MS Office experience
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.

The expected compensation range for this position is $68,000- $85,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
