Primary Responsibilities
HDR Engineering, Inc. has an opportunity for a Real Estate Services Agent 2 based out of our Denver office. The candidate will perform land rights services for moderate to highly complex projects with limited supervision and will have the opportunity to work on transportation, power, and water projects as part of HDR’s cross sector services. This position will involve working as a part of multidisciplined teams including engineering, surveying, environmental and strategic communications and will require working on several projects concurrently.
Responsibilities include:
- Property ownership and valuation research
- Real estate document preparation
- Title and appraisal reviews
- Land rights negotiation and acquisition
- Meeting with property owners, public agencies and clients
- Field meetings and visits to active construction sites
- Quality assurance/quality control
- Accurate landowner contact documentation

Required Qualifications
- Real estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to productively collaborate and communicate with team members
- Ability to interpret land descriptions and survey and engineering drawings
- Basic understanding of real estate appraisal fundamentals
- Ability to effectively self-manage schedule and tasks
- Ability to adhere to QA/QC procedures
- Proficiency with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Earth
- Available for travel anywhere in Colorado (limited out of state may be required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Colorado
- Transportation and/or Power related experience
- Proficiency adhering to the Uniform Relocation Act
- Certification from the International Right of Way Association
- Permitting experience within Colorado

The expected compensation range for this position is $63,140.00 - $$90,200.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
