Job Description:
The Regional Clinical Trainer is an experienced individual providing hands-on training for Heal providers. The Regional Clinical Trainer will design, develop, and execute training programs for Heal providers and clinical staff based on the organization's needs and will be required to standardize and communicate expectations for care delivery. The role will require use of technical training skills to support best practices and creative strategies for improving the patient experience and ensuring that Heal’s values and standards are upheld.
The Regional Clinical Trainer should possess and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and skill in areas of healthcare, technology, and/or education as evidenced by experience in providing classroom and/or on-site training for patient care best practices. They will conduct needs and skills assessments for end-users to determine the type and duration of training needed, develop training documentation and outlines, and deliver training to end-users with varying levels of computer literacy and in a range of clinical modules/applications. They must have the ability to understand healthcare software, explain technical concepts to non-technical professionals, and to translate administrative and operating requirements into clear, specific, and actionable curricula, and then implement and teach those curricula.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of hands-on training programs (i.e. use of Heal software, following Heal policies, procedural training) for Heal providers and clinical staff.
- Prepare and maintain training course materials.
- Develop training programs for skill enhancement, performance improvement
- Evaluate training programs and recommend improvements.
- Ensure that training material and information are updated and available at all times.
- Collaborate across departments to identify relevant training needs.
- Adhere to company procedures and regulations.
- Develop creative and innovative approaches to present hands-on training programs.
- Provide clinical staff with feedback, standardization, & Heal best practices
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Travel within New York and New Jersey required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and/or comfort to learn and navigate learning management systems
- Proficient with technology, including navigating multiple applications and platforms
- Comfortable using Mac OS and Apple devices
- Resourcefulness in solving problems
- Excellent people skills, patient, kind, upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Superior professionalism and judgment
- Previous start-up experience a plus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Medical licensure/certification required in LVN/LPN, RN, or other advanced clinical degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare or healthcare education
