We are seeking a highly competent and compassionate Caregiver to work with a wide range of patients in varying conditions. The successful candidate will have a CHAMPS clearance and exceptional communication skills, a high level of flexibility and the ability to handle various situations that arise in a group home environment. Ability to commit to long hours, including weekends and holidays, is required for this position
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the care receiver and understand what they say.
- Communicate with the care receiver and understand what they mean.
- Be caring and compassionate toward children and their caretakers.
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family.
- Take care of the physical needs of a person who is unable to do it themselves.
- Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.
- Be aware of changes in behavior or health condition and report them immediately to others.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
