What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Counselor position at Health Connect America?

What will I be doing?
The IOP Facilitator will perform assessments, and facilitate all IOP group sessions, as well as individual, family and weekly programs as assigned using industry recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions and complete all required paperwork per timelines established to ensure successful billing of services.
Am I a good fit?
A flexible schedule is important for this role and allows you to have control over your session planning. You will have significant planning and documentation, so good time management is a must!
Qualifications-
Master’s on licensure track supervision required or LAPC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW with Master’s degree in a Human Services field such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, etc. and 2 years’ experience working in addictive/co-occurring disorders or 3 years’ experience in addictive/co-occurring disorders and active in the process for licensure as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor.
