About the Position
We seek a Data Manager to take Health People forward to use its important community and program data to develop new and more effective initiatives, highlight the progress in health outcomes it makes for so many people, refashion its tracking and billing systems, and comprehensively report to funding agencies. This is a new role.
Role & Responsibilities
This position will manage all data for current and upcoming programs and projects. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Manage the collection and timely and accurate of programmatic data into funder-administered database, including participant-level data, such as demographics, health goals and outcomes (at intake and follow-up), and case management notes, as well as event and activity data and summaries
· Develop overall data planning, protocols, workflows and strategy for organization’s future path
· Collaborate with Program Managers/Directors, and possibly external stakeholders, to ensure proper standards, quality assurance, and training/updating of field staff
· Review data collection tools (paperwork) for errors before entry; enter data or oversee data entry by coordinator/peer
· Create regular reports for directors and funders, ensuring they are accurate and complete and provide appropriate quantitative and qualitative information
Qualifications
· Experience with program data collection, entry, management, improvement and reporting
· Knowledge of databases and systems; ideally Compass, AIRS, Salesforce or other CRMs
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, other computer programs and shared networks
· Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high attention to detail
· Familiarity with confidentiality, privacy, HIPAA and other laws
· Commitment to working with community members and CBO staff in promoting health and fighting against AIDS and other chronic diseases and their harmful effects
· Associates degree 5 years of post-college work experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
