What you’ll do
We’re looking for a highly organized team player with a keen eye for detail to join us as our Compliance Benefits Coordinator. In this role, you’ll triage and monitor assignments for clients’ Employee Health & Welfare Benefit Plans.
In this role, you’ll also:
- Assign new groups to Contract Administrators and track progress of new group and renewals cycle.
- Work with Client Services, TRU, Customer Service and Policy Issue to review and revise internal procedures to improve efficiency, client satisfaction and Customer Service accuracy
- Maintain reports related to ERISA and Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulatory provisions needed to assist with the administration of clients’ self-insured plans
- Coordinate production of Initial General Notice of COBRA Continuation Coverage Rights as part of new membership Welcome Kit for identified clients
- Audit clients’ plan design data for various annual state reporting submissions
- Complete miscellaneous state-required forms or applications
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in health plan administration, employee benefits, or benefit plan compliance in the healthcare industry
- Strong oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
