Were looking for an Advanced Clinical Expert (ACE) to join our team as a department clinician and an ACE. Sites will vary in Pueblo, CO.
What Youd Be Doing
As the Advanced Clinical Expert (ACE) you would assist with clinical supervision of departmental staff, including practicum and internship staff; and half time clinical case load. You would employ excellent communication and documentations skills on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities: Under the Director of the assigned department:
- Clinical supervision of practicum and internship staff in accordance with Center policies and procedures;
- Maintains a partial caseload of active clients;
- Assists with clinical supervision of other departmental staff;
- Attends workshops and other conferences in order to train interns and other staff;
- Engages interns and staff in identifying behavioral health questions, gathering information, analyzing and evaluating evidence, and drawing conclusions and sharing the knowledge gained from the research;
- Acts as Health Solutions clinical mentor and resource for staff on behavioral health treatment;
- May provide clinical training to internal and external participants and may assist the Center with the writing of articles for various trade publications;
- Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with other community agencies;
- Ability to present oneself in an appropriately personable and professional manner to staff and community;
- Ability to be both consistent and flexible as circumstances warrant;
- Participates in supervision and training with an openness to learning and receiving feedback;
- Manages and supervises accurate and complete documentation, including auditing for clinical content and accurate coding of billed services;
- Reviews treatment plans, supervision and consultation for clinical efficacy;
- Performs Utilization Review and Management;
- Maintains and supports compliance with Center standards;
- Provides administrative/supervisory coverage in the absence of other supervisors as assigned;
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Adult Services Director.
- Physical requirements include the following:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Frequently communicates with physicians about medical notes, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 15 pounds
- Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
- Occasionally drives, at times in adverse weather conditions

What Were Looking ForThe Must-Haves
- Master's degree in social work
- Current Colorado professional license (LCSW)
- Licensed for 5 years or more.
- Extensive knowledge of theories, modalities and clinical treatment.
- Proficiency in teaching and able to work effectively with a wide variety of staff in different environments and across a range of content.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities of authenticity, self-awareness and creativity.
- Up to date on current theoretical practices and engages staff and interns in research questions and data collection.
- Community mental health experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Colorado drivers license and access to transportation during work hours
- Health Solutions employees will be required to have a letter of recommendation from their Director.
