Typical Schedule
Employee will typically work a 5-day work week, Monday-Friday, as mutually agreed upon with HSi manager.
I. Position summary:
Will oversee the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations
II. Minimum qualifications:
Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll manager
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals; good with numbers
Familiarity with multi-state payroll issues
Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask and adjust to fast paced changes and time-sensitive deadlines
Elevated level of professionalism with the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
History of demonstrating sound judgement by making appropriate decisions and knowing when to take initiative
Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with specific focus on Excel
Experience with payroll software platforms
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or other professional education (a minimum 4-year degree or 4 years of commensurate education) OR
