Description

Overview:

As our new Copywriter, you see the bigger picture and take an informed, empathetic approach to writing. You’re passionate about understanding your audience and keep a user-first mindset when crafting content. You appreciate the rhythm and musicality of a phrase...and good wordplay. Seriously love social? Awesome! This role has a heavy emphasis on social copy. You’ll also be helping in the ideation and shaping of our new digital offerings, so bring your ideas! 

 

This role is remote and you must be available to work standard EST business hours. Please submit a link to your portfolio when applying.

 

What You Do:

  • Write compelling copy across multiple platforms that authentically speak to our different patient populations 

  • Research, write, and edit content across a variety of channels

  • Develop a high-level understanding of our different patient communities, and the tone of voice for each 

  • Learn the ins and out of different chronic conditions and transform those ideas into compelling, relatable, easy-to-understand messaging

  • Participate in brainstorms to come up with new, innovative ways to meet patient needs

  • Work cross-functionally to bring projects/ideas to life

  • Pitch in on ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications


What You Bring:

  • Experience in consumer healthcare writing required; OTC experience a plus

  • 3 years copywriting experience; agency experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or equivalent work experience 

  • Ability to translate complex ideas into engaging, digestible messaging

  • Excellent writing, editing, research, and storytelling skills

  • Understanding of the relationship between words and design

  • Portfolio showcasing your work
