Job Summary:
The Dental Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive training and technical support to end-users of Electronic Dental Records (EDR) systems. This role involves facilitating training for new hires, assisting with system implementation, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring efficient utilization of EDR software. The Dental Trainer collaborates closely with the dental teams, IT teams, and vendors to optimize the EMR system's functionality and user experience.
Job Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users regarding EDR-related technical issues, inquiries, and requests.
- Conduct user training sessions to educate end-users on EDR system functionalities, workflows, and best practices Assess users’ comprehension and progress, providing additional support as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams and IT personnel during EDR system implementation and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and streamline workflows within the EDR system.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new features in EDR systems, sharing relevant information with end-users.
- Must have the ability to travel on site to clinic locations in need or training and/or support.

- Knowledge of current dental terminology to perform various tests and procedures, complete dental records documentation, and communicate with providers, staff and patients.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Previous dental related experience is preferred.
- Previous supervision or employee training experience is preferred.
- Proficient in using EMR software and related applications
