Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC (HMS) has an immediate opening for a Disaster Recovery Analyst to work remotely. The Disaster Recovery Analyst has significant experience in the analysis of program and project disaster recovery plans and systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and test the following deliverables in accordance with Government, NIST-800 and best practices standards:

  • Information System Response Plan
  • Disaster Recovery Plan
  • Information Systems Contingency Plan

The above deliverables will be updated, tested on prescribed basis as set out in the clients Policy and Procedures Handbook.

Additional responsibilities and deliverables will include:

  • Guide teams on DR requirements, such as DR plans and DR tests, as defined in the IT Disaster Recovery Policy
  • Coordinate business unit staff and key IT staff members for the planning and conducting of DR tests and Exercises
  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • Root Cause Analysis – when required (RCA)
  • After Action Reports (AAR)
  • Providing Education and Awareness Meetings
  • Participating in Organizational Wide Disaster Recovery Tests
  • Project Management responsibilities when required for preparing DR tests
  • Monitor System Dashboards and respond to the IRP when required
  • Respond to Internal Audit Requests
  • Assist the Incident Management Team to coordinate the execution of the disaster recovery plan(s) when a business or IT disruption occurs.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of experience.

Minimum Education and Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • Previous working experience as a DR Coordinator for at least 5 years
  • AWS/Azure experience and understanding of Cloud DR
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and participate in technical meetings with:
    • DBAs
    • Network Architects
    • Application Testers
    • System Administration
    • Application Administrator
  • Strong Written, presentation and Communications Skills
  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional a plus
