Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.
HOPCo is the managing partner of Arizona-based entities, CORE Institute, Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, CORE Institute Specialty Hospital, Michigan-based CORE Institute, and Florida-based Southeast Orthopedic Specialists Clinics and Musculoskeletal Specialty Hospital.
As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for a VP, Clinical Network Services & Integration. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversee vendor and/or internal clinical-practice IT resources managing network solutions at clinics, practices, ASCs, and hospitals owned/managed by HOPCo
Manage intake process, issue tracking and resolution for all clinical practice IT teams
Provide input to CTO on effectiveness of network vendors and other resources engaged in day-to-day work
Participate in all Growth and Integration conversations and planning
Provide critical insights into technical and timeline feasibility of IT participation in integration plans
Participate as a full decision-making member of the Integration Management Office (IMO)
Understand requirements from COO and clinical teams
Negotiate technical solutions and timelines with COO and clinical teams
Communicate/negotiate requirements and timelines with HOPCo IT and contracted partners
Track progress and risks, manage issues, set expectations, communicate proactively and regularly to all stakeholders
Define, implement, and manage metrics tracking mechanism for integration work
Manage lesson-learned sessions for each integration post-project-completion
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree required (CS or CIS optimal); MBA preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to executive and physician audiences.
Experience involving clinical acquisitions, sale processes, and operations
Healthcare hospital or clinical practice IT experience
Extensive project management experience, leading multi-month, multi-million-dollar projects
Technical expertise related to infrastructure setup, including networks and telephony
Demonstrated experience as successful influential leader across matrixed teams
KNOWLEDGE
Expert knowledge in project management and written presentations including Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
SKILLS
Strong negotiation skills for setting realistic expectations with COO and partners
Strong customer service mindset for ensuring the clinical and operational “voice” is heard and priority is set accordingly
Excellent listening, analytical, and communication skills that will contribute to sensitive conversations with physicians and leaders of future partnerships
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with sound business judgment.
