Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist

Daily Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist:

• Duties include taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, drawing blood, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. Looking for a quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Phlebotomy skills, no ports, be able to take blood pressures, and temperatures

Requirements for Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist:

• Must have HS Diploma or GED
• 1 yrs. experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a busy medical office (40 patients daily)
• Experience with taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, performing blood pressure checks, rooming patients, and taking patient medical history
• Must have experience with Phlebotomy – with at least 15 patients per day
• Must have EMR experience

Hours for this Position:

• M-F 8:30am to 5pm (30-minute lunch)
