Are you an experienced Medical Assistant looking for a 3-month contract opportunity (with perm potential) with a prestigious healthcare company in Lafayette, IN? Responsibilities for the Medical Assistant position:
- Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs
- Document patient care using electronic medical record software
- Administer medications and perform injections/immunizations
- Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
- Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals
Requirements for this position:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Medical Assistant diploma/certification OR 1 year of relevant experience
- Fully vaccinated from COVID-19
Hours for the Medical Assistant position:
- Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
Compensation for this position:
- $18 to $21 per hour, dependent on relevant experience
