How you can make a difference
The Director, Partner Marketing is responsible for developing, nurturing and activating relationships with HealthEquity’s partner network. You will lead a team of high-performance partner marketers and manage an ecosystem of reseller, referral, and broker relationships. You and your team will be responsible for designing partner enablement and co-marketing programs that generate revenue for the business. The ideal candidate will be creative, growth-oriented, analytical, and passionate about championing HealthEquity and our partners.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the marketing strategy and execution to drive revenue generating programs through and with health and retirement plan partners, measuring effectiveness through opportunity revenue.
- Build, execute, and evaluate partner marketing programs including sales training, enablement, and awareness to activate partners to drive meaningful opportunities for HealthEquity.
- Develop and manage to criteria around premium support for high-value partners; build multichannel B2B co-marketing campaigns and member campaigns for high-value partners with member engagement colleagues.
- Partner with Growth marketing to leverage account-based marketing insights to action on opportunities to drive demand both to partners and through their client base.
- Work closely with partner leadership to develop differentiated value stories, case studies, and testimonials that clearly articulate how HealthEquity [partner] creates a bigger impact for our joint clients.
- Track and measure against a partner-sourced pipeline, evaluating individual partner performance and identifying opportunities to improve and maximize results.
- Work with external and internal cross-functional partners to develop multi-channel co-marketing campaigns that generate opportunities and elevate HealthEquity and our partners in a meaningful way.
- Understand and articulate a perspective on the different types of partners in the HealthEquity ecosystem and the nuances with each partner, including how to address channel conflict.
- Deliver coaching and training materials and host sessions for the sales teams that reinforce the value and impact of our best practices for Channel partners
- Participate in B2B Leadership Team meetings as well as cross-functional Marketing Leadership Team meetings.
- Occasional travel to attend training or meetings may be required.
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Communications or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of marketing communications.
- 10 years of experience in a marketing and/or channel partner business capacity or a similar role in a corporate marketing environment.
- The ability to write marketing communications that are technically accurate and conform to the Company's branding image and writing style guidelines is essential. This entails excellent verbal communication, writing and proofing skills.
- Excellent project management skills, a keen sense of urgency, a strong orientation to detail as well as a high commitment to customer service are required.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills with a team orientation are key. The ability to interact and collaborate effectively with team members, technical staff, vendors, clients and employees as described is required.
- Strong executive presence and ability to present, influence, and partner with executive-level stakeholders.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities and the ability to perform work in a demanding environment are required. This entails the ability to deal effectively with deadlines. Incumbents must have initiative to work independently and address problems, be able to adapt to changing demands, and must be able to follow-through with general direction.
- Knowledge and expertise of or the ability to rapidly learn and become a subject area expert in HealthEquity products, processes and services to successfully assess, decipher and deliver clear messages and communications to internal and external audiences is required.
