Key Responsibilities
- Create designs that reflect the Healthfirst culture and brand.
- Partner and consult with internal stakeholders to create corporate, educational, and marketing material for events, employees, sales, members, providers, and more.
- Guide creative from initial concept to final execution.
- Follow brand guidelines and existing templates.
- Drive best practices, design integrity, and alignment with the brand.
- Work with colleagues to ensure a consistent visual experience across all project types (print, video, motion, interactive)
- Contribute to project kickoffs, brainstorming sessions, creative development, and stakeholder reviews.
- Be proactive; discover ways to make the work better.
- Use effective time management to balance multiple projects.
- Deliver on time. Stay within budget.
- Follow departmental SOPs and quality control policies.
- Produce work that is accessible to others.
- Design creative that operates at scale.
- Retouch, color correct, pre-flight, and prepare files for distribution.
- Be available to work extended hours during the peak busy season.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design/visual arts or more than five years of relevant work experience in an in-house marketing team
- Portfolio of recent work demonstrating strong problem-solving, creative composition, and experience in print, digital, and branding
- Strong print experience (long document creation, tables, styles, CMYK, retouching, color correction)
- Strong digital experience (wire-framing, prototyping, email, responsive web design)
- Knowledge of established and emerging best practices in graphic design and production
- Curious; a highly conceptual problem solver.
- A learner's mindset; is solution-oriented and results-driven.
- Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations
- Expertise in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, After Effects, Figma, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work at a high level with minimal supervision
- Prior industry experience in Health Insurance is preferred but not required.

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $65,600 - $94,775
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $58,300 - $86,700
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
