In the Small Business Account Manager position, you will:
- Provide the highest quality of professional service to every customer.
- Maintain knowledge of products.
- Grow sales by cross selling and rounding out accounts in your existing book of business. There are opportunities to earn bonuses for cross-selling, rounding out and promoting Life policies.
- Service existing clients in person, email, telephone and sms text.
- Prepare renewals, remarket accounts, and manage your book of business.
- Quote and Issue new policies.
- Review and process all incoming correspondence and respond in a timely manner.
Heaton Bennett Insurance employs a team of commercial lines processor virtual assistants who support a large variety of servicing tasks. Some include – COI preparation and delivery, policy billing issues, streamline email management, audit support, claims support and more.

Compensation & Benefits:
- This position can be – in office, hybrid, or 100% remote. In office or hybrid preferred if candidate is near and reasonable commute to our agency.
- Salary Plus, Commissions & Bonus Opportunity
- Starting Based on Prior Experience.
- Salary range $45,000 - $75,000

Requirements for Small Business Account Manager:
- Property and casualty insurance license is required.
- Must have knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverages and products.
- Familiarity with the operations of an Independent Insurance Agency
- Previous insurance experience required
- Must be customer service oriented
- Must have the ability to work independently and possess organization skills to manage numerous, varied, detailed tasks.
- Must have computer skills and ability to use Office software programs
- Applicant must be articulate and friendly, demonstrate professional appearance and have a strong work ethic.
- Endorse technology over “old school” models.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
