The Director of Operations and Brand Compliance oversees HEI’s operational compliance and brand compliance programs. The position also plays a key role in developing and supporting operational tools, administering operational reports, and managing HEI’s operational infrastructure. Occassional travel is expected for this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversees HEI’s operational compliance program.
  • Aids in the support and development of HEI’s Looking Glass programs, as well as other required operational tools.
  • Ensures that all hotels are knowledgeable on the selection of HEI proprietary tools available, and that they are using the tools correctly (as measured through compliance scoring).
  • Performs sophisticated, high-level analyses of property operational deficiencies to identify additional enterprise-level tools or reports required.
  • Acts as HEI’s primary point of contact for the receipt and distribution of all brand communications.
  • Ensures property compliance with all brand mandates and initiatives, including guest service, brand QA, and brand scorecards.
  • Oversees the administration of Quality Assurance process.
  • Performs weekly Guest Satisfaction analysis and runs ad hoc reports as needed for leadership.
  • Facilitates Senior Leadership meetings and events.
  • Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, business or hospitality concentration preferred.
  • Prior hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the compliance or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; extremely strong working knowledge Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage time against competing timelines.
  • High level of acumen to build Excel-based models to meet business needs is required. Some level of programming is preferred.
  • Ability to present and interact professionally to C-Level staff.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
  • Occasional travel is expected.
