Production Planner

Organize and assign workflow. Make sure all manufacturing departments are
running at their full capacity with an emphasis on part quality and on time delivery. Must have
the ability to manage, motivate and train employees on machine shop floor along with
maintaining quality and safety standards. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident per
government (ITAR) regulations for this position.

Assist in setting production goals and meet target dates.
Assist in plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders
Develop and review production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion

· Monitor and identify area with bottlenecks

· Capable of identify and resolve problems in timely manner

· Escalate complex issues to upper Management for resolution

· Investigate production problem, analyze root causes

· Address issues regarding quality / quantity during production

· Manage deadlines to meets customer due date

· Prior experience as a production assistant in the industry preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred

· Reviewing work orders to ensure that production orders are complete, accurate, and ready for production

· Ordering materials needed for production from suppliers

· Maintaining production schedules and records of production activities

· Assisting with inventory management by tracking materials used in production and ordering new supplies as needed

Experience Requirements:

· 3-5 years of strong Microsoft Office experience (especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)

· Project Management Experience is preferred

· Material Purchasing Experience is required

· Ability to read and understand Blueprints / Engineering Drawings

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
