What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales/Inventory Associate position at Heirlooms?
Heirlooms is looking for 1 - 2 part-time Store and/or Inventory Associates. If you have a positive attitude, take initiative, pay attention to detail, are punctual, reliable, flexible, and are ready and willing to do good-to-great work, please come on by, say HI, and apply! We, ideally, want someone that can help run/work the store floor, but also looking for someone to do inventory & organizing in the back. Preferably both! Retail experience is a PLUS but we’re willing to train the right person. Pay commensurate with experience.
Hours/shifts are generally flexible, but ideally we would like someone that can work at least a few weekdays and occasional weekends.

Job Requirements/Preferences:
1) Minimum 2 years of regular retail, customer service, or related work experience.
2) Must have completed high school or received diploma-equivalent.
3) Experience working with customers, vendors, locals, tourists – anyone and everyone – all with a smile on your face!
4) Must be able/willing to put down the cell phone and pay attention to floor activity, focus on and greet customers, get the job done!
5) Must be able/willing to do everything from front store/floor (helping customers, sales, displays) to restocking, cleaning (sweeping, dusting, wiping), etc.
6) Must be semi-tech savvy (QuickBooks Point of Sale experience is a plus!), able and trusted to handle/count cash, do some basic math stuff, open and close out cash drawer.
7) Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds of fun, cute stuff, reach up high, do some squats, maybe some light climbing, and stand "like a boss" for full shifts.
Additional preferred experience/qualifications:
1) Hands-on experience using Quickbooks Point of Sale (or similar) - entering and pricing new merchandise/inventory, creating and completing purchase orders/receiving vouchers, and related data management.
2) Some light store management - task management, setting schedules, ordering supplies, some recruiting. Other tasks, as required.
