Healthcare Facility in Fremont, Ohio is in need of a full-time Receptionist/Scheduler. To be successful in this role the candidate must be overall have good communication skills, take initiative, have good problem solving skills, and the ability to professionally take calls, transfer calls, and take messages.
Duties of Receptionist
- Greets people
- Answer the phones
- Clerical duties
Responsibilities of Receptionist
- Greet visitors in a professional and hospitable manner and provide assistance
- Types memos, correspondences, agendas and reports as required
- Maintains files for the branch
- Assists the HR and Clinical Department
- Receives, sorts, and opens mail
- Does photocopying and scanning as require
Duties of Scheduler
The primary purpose of your position is to schedule and fill all shift positions with available Nursing staff to assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents at all times and to meet resident care needs in accordance with federal and state long term care regulations. Your responsibilities include maintaining facility staffing levels in accordance with Healthcare Nursing policies and procedures, budget considerations, the Healthcare mission philosophy and under the direction of the Director of Nursing. As the Scheduler , you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Responsibilities of Scheduler
- Secure staffing or replacement staffing for an understaffed position or perform the position yourself in a situation of short-staffing.
- Notify the DON or designated on-call personnel during staffing emergencies.
- Answer staff call-offs, if designated by DON, and replace staff as necessary keeping DON informed of the situation.
- Complete and distribute DON approved monthly schedules for Nursing.
