We’re currently looking for a Full Time Nanny in Manhattan Beach, 90266
A lovely family is seeking a full time nanny for their playful and active 11 month old boy to start as soon as possible. The boy is working on transitioning to solids and the family is looking for extra support with this. He currently naps twice per day and needs to be rocked to sleep. Care is needed Mondays-Thursdays from 8am-5pm and Fridays from 8am-2pm. There is a possibility where the parents are required to work outside of the listed schedule; the latest end time for Monday-Thursday would be 6pm and the latest end time for Fridays would be 4pm. There are 2 friendly cats in the home, however, no pet care is needed. Mom and dad WFH. A great candidate will be engaging, have passion for what they do, and focus on developmental milestones with the baby while still having fun with him.
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: September 2023 (approximately 6 months)
- Schedule: Mondays-Thursday, 8am-5pm; Fridays 8am-2pm
- Compensation: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience
* Gas reimbursement when driving the child
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diaper changing
- Bottle solid feeding
- Tidying up after self and child
- Child’s laundry
- Meal prep; steaming veggies, making small plates, etc.
- Driving child on occasion; furthest distance would be 30 minutes away
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience as a nanny or in a daycare setting
- Must be UTD on infant CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and willing to show proof
- Must have received a COVID-19 booster or willing to obtain prior to start
- Must have a valid driver’s license safe driving record (motor vehicle report will be checked)
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport child; car seat will be provided
- Must be comfortable around cats
- Non smoker
