Salary: $5,871.18 to $8,470.40 monthly
Hybrid Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday (in-office/remote=16 hours a week) to be pre-arranged with Supervisor prior to start date.

SUMMARY
The Senior Clinical Social Worker will perform professional social work services in connection with the treatment of pediatric patients in the Strong Healthy and Resilient Kids (SHARK) Clinic.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Interviews pediatric patients and their parent/guardian to obtain a family, social, developmental, medical, and mental health treatment history.
- Plans and conducts the patient's therapy program under the guidance of supervisory staff by considering the patient's treatment goal and by determining the priorities of the programs to be dealt with and the length and modality of therapy.
- Provides psychotherapy to pediatric patients and their parents/guardians.
- Provides parenting advice and instruction to referred families.
- Provides case management services to secure resources for pediatric patients and their families in order to achieve treatment goals.
- Works with pediatric patients and families toward gaining their acceptance of and participation in treatment recommendations.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary team conferences to discuss clients.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience, post Master's degree, in Social Work with pediatric clients in individual and family psychotherapy.
- Experience or certification in a parenting training program such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy or Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).
- Experience with or knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
A Master's degree from an accredited school of social work.
Certificates/Licenses/Clearances
- Full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
**The required license MUST be current and unrestricted; a conditional, provisional, probationary or restricted license will NOT be accepted.

- Successful clearance through Los Angeles County’s Live Scan process.
- Successful clearance through the Medical Clearance process.
