Summary
The EHS&S Manager facilitates HSC’s commitment to protect and enhance the environment, health, safety, and security of our employees, customers, and community. The EHS&S department including process safety management, environmental stewardship, product safety, occupational safety, security, emergency response, and loss prevention.
Essential Functions
- Define and implement strategies to efficiently maintain HSC sustainability and management of risk.
- Provide and maintain the management system (OEMS) to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
- Maintain relationship with local outside emergency and regulatory organizations
- Develop and retain talent with continuous focus on uplifting organizational skills and knowledge
- Define, prioritize, and implement projects to meet safety, environmental, and regulatory goals.

- This position is accountable for EHS&S management system effectiveness.
- Responsible for safely delivering the production plan.
- Responsible for meeting agreed upon budget.
- Responsible for coaching, career planning, and career development of team members.
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Chemical Engineering background is preferred but not required.
Required Work Experience
- 15 years experience in manufacturing, engineering, safety, or environmental roles.
- Proven track record in leading teams to deliver goals.
