Precious Metals Tracker
The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and execute all the relevant SAP transactions and processes to optimizes precious metal throughput, lead time and the quality off all Precious Metal containing material in Operations for Heraeus Precious Metals North America, LLC. The Precious Metal Tracker is responsible for the listed day-today SAP transaction verification of Production and Sampling processes to meet customer demands. Your Role and Responsibilites:
- Reviewing capacity bookings for accuracy and correctness in SAP. This applies to every production step for every production order.
- Capacity utilization / throughput reporting to optimize production runs and forecasting
- Reviewing Ilot results and the impact on order balancing before orders are closed for back distribution
- Assisting with Precious Metal tracking, for all
- Perform back distribution on orders and follow up on aged production orders impacting PM financing
- Informing OP of intercompany orders that are ready for shipment to reduce PM financing cost
- Assisting with other tasks like maintaining of the fixed asset register in SAP
- Creating and releasing of Production orders, including relevant process guidelines, for Smelter Refining orders.
What is required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field is preferred
- Prior knowledge or the ability to learn SAP
- Experience working with Microsoft Office platform
- Strong math skills that include addition, subtraction, multipulcation, converting to percentages and to the metric system
- Experience working with international colleagues and/or customers as well as a comfort level reporting in a matrix organization
- Strong customer focus and takes ownership of internal challenges
- Trustworthy, willing to share information as appropriate and serve as a mentor
