Position: Fill & Finish Technician I
Department: Production/ Fill & Finish
Hours: Monday - Friday, Two Shifts Available: 6 am - 2:30 pm & 2 pm - 10:30pm
Pay: $16.50 per hour plus a $2.00/hr. shift differential for afternoon shift.
Location: 5428 Bierson Way, Central Point, OR, 97502
Training period will be located in Williams, OR Headquarters for approximately 3 weeks.
Summary: The Fill and Finish Technician I is responsible for assisting in a variety of fill and finish tasks on a rotating basis to maintain our inventory. Ensuring tasks are performed in a safe and sanitary manner following all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGPMs).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: include the following, other duties may be assigned
- Manual application of labels to bottles, operating a funnel and/or dispensing pump to fill bottles with extract, capping & sealing bottles.
- Proper documentation of batch codes
- Ensures all equipment is operating optimally.
- Promotes a work environment that meets cGMP regulations by following all established procedures and completing all required training on cGMPs.
- Ensures a safe work environment by following all safety rules, maintaining strong safety awareness and participating in required safety training and meetings.
- Assists Quality with investigations and inspections as needed.
- Ability to detect issues and troubleshoot.
- Ability to document completed production steps on Batch Production Records (BPRs) and/or other manufacturing records in an accurate, legible, and timely manner in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Participates in all team meetings, sharing ideas on continuous process improvement with the supervisor and team members.
- Fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must pay close attention to detail.
- A pre-employment physical is required prior to employment
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra.
- Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 6 months of related experience or training
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time & heavy lifting required, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Work environment can be noisy requiring PPE; conditions may include occasional exposure to outdoor weather and slippery surfaces. A pre-employment physical is required prior to employment.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as company procedures manuals, safety rules and computer operating manuals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to quickly organize and communicate thoughts, and to understand communications from others. Ability to maintain composure, listen and respond appropriately. Participates in all team meetings, sharing ideas on continuous process improvement with the supervisor and team members.
