Asphalt Sales/Estimator
We are looking for a professional, detail oriented, self-motivated Sales/Estimator to meet with customers and/or contractors and prepare accurate estimates for projects.
This is an entry level position and all training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Meet customers at their property and document details of the job site to prepare estimate.
- Review, interpret and analyze project documentation: drawings, specifications, data, engineering reports, addendums, etc.
- Contact subcontractors, suppliers and specialty services for quotes.
- Develop and maintain business relationships to increase bid opportunities.
- Ensure estimates are completed in a timely fashion.
Skills:
- The candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational ability.
- Capable of overseeing multiple projects and tasks.
- Excels in time management and punctuality
- Creative problem-solving skills and thinking outside the box.
- Skilled in customer relation management.
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management and fellow employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred or applicable work experience.
- Must have strong Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
- A valid Florida driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required.
