Hercules Pet Clinic is seeking a Hospital Manager to join our team! Hercules Pet Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, full-service veterinary hospital located in Hercules, CA. We have been serving the Hercules Pet Clinic community since 1986. Hercules Pet Clinic boasts Fear Free certified team members and is committed to providing advanced care to our patients. We immerse ourselves in the broader Bay Area community and are proud supporters of our local Contra Costa Humane Society and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.  

At Hercules Pet Clinic, we take care of our people so our people can take care of pets! Our Hospital Managers play a lead role in building strong, engaging cultures in each of our locations. They ensure that new initiatives (operations, training, HR, financial, etc.) are successfully implemented onsite, work as a conduit between the management team and onsite leadership team, and ensure a consistently exceptional pet parent, patient, and employee experience.

 In this role, you will be responsible for the following: 

• directing and supervising team members
• acting as a coach/trusted advisor to our Veterinarians and Leads
• monitoring and evaluating operations daily
• collaborating with the clinical team and staff to ensure that goals are met
• hiring, assignment of work, job development, training, and day-to-day employment relations
• managing the schedule, inventory levels, reporting, compliance, and risk management
• acting as a client concierge, ensuring each client's experience is exceptional
• remaining an active part of the team, leading through example by supporting the team when short-staffed, and training both new and existing staff
