Role Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you will support HERE Sales Teams to migrate HERE customers to the new HERE platform as well as identifying and qualifying new Business Opportunities for HERE.
Your focus area will be North America, preferred location will be Chicago.
Identifying and qualifying new scenarios and business opportunities related to Location Data and Location Services leveraging the HERE platform will be a core responsibility.
Understanding business challenges of industries such as Automotive, Fleet, Mobility, IoT and Transport & Logistic are beneficial.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Drive HERE platform adoption by increasing
- the number of customers onboarded & using the platform
- the platform usage per customer
- Analyze existing HERE customer contracts and consult sales on how to migrate and convert it to the new HERE platform
- Identify and qualify new scenarios and business opportunities related to Location Data and Location Services
- Drive HERE platform usage and revenue growth
- Engage with prospects and represent the HERE Platform from a business and product perspective to drive and grow its market position as the preferred platform for data monetization, data consumption and data processing
- Negotiate commercial terms and close agreements with prospects planning to join the HERE platform
- Support sales as a subject matter expert on HERE platform (esp. adoption/usage, monetization/consumption/processing) in customer and partner meetings.
- Work closely with Marketplace demand/supply strategy & planning and marketplace operations teams to help identify and understand demand/supply gaps
- Represent the data needs of HERE products in the market and help acquire relevant data from third parties
- Work closely with Product Management to provide customer and market feedback and ensure focus on and implementation of a customer centric product roadmap
- Identify and evaluate new market segments/channels and prioritize GTM
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on sales enablement and on developing GTM messaging and collaterals
- Represent HERE at industry conferences and events focused on data sharing and monetization.
Role Requirements:
You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following skills, abilities, competencies, and work experience:
- 8 yrs. experience in GTM, business development, partnerships, or related market-facing functions
- Strong professional network in AMER region with a proven ability to rapidly build and cultivate biz relationships
- Experience in one or more of following industry verticals: Auto, Transportation & Logistics, Mobility, IoT (Smart Cities and/or Smart Appliances)
- Solid experience with data products and data platforms
- Open and flexible mentality to work with evolving technologies and businesses
- Experience with sales enablement and sales operations
- Experience with Marketplace business is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree a must, MBA desired.
- Fluent English language skills
