Primary Responsibilities:
Interview prospective loan applicants to determine eligibility for SBA 7a, 504 and USDA B&I loan programs. Structure the project financing according to program guidelines. Determine loan pricing based upon Bank policy, project risk and market competition. Make a site visit to the place of business. Obtain sufficient information from applicants to prepare a complete loan package for credit approval. Prepare loan transmittal. Develop business in community, directly and through referral base such as attorneys, accountants, real estate and business brokers, and other lead generators. Provide positive Bank image in community and professional associations. Provide support to department in obtaining financials, site inspections or collection activity if requested.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of job related laws and regulations. Responsible for keeping compliance knowledge current by attending compliance related training seminars and/or staff meetings (or reviewing minutes when not in attendance for actual meetings) and by reading pertinent compliance related materials. Job related laws and regulations include, but are not limited to, the following: Truth in Lending (Regulation Z); Equal Credit Opportunity (Regulation B); Fair Housing Act; Fair Credit Reporting Act; Fair Debt Collection Practices Act; Loans Secured by Margin Stock (Regulation U); Credit Practices Rules (Regulation AA); Community Reinvestment Act; Real Estate Appraisal Regulations; Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (Regulation X); Regulation O; Bank Bribery Act; Emergency Preparedness; Financial Privacy Laws; Flood Disaster Protection Act; and Tax Reporting Regulations. Other duties may be assigned.
Summary:
Develop and submit SBA and USDA loan applications for approval. Provide support to underwriting and closing personnel to preserve a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
